Down To Work

March 3, 2025

Foreman Steve and worker Stephen arrived promptly on Friday morning and started clearing and sorting. As Steve said, he really couldn’t plan anything until he knew exactly what we had that we might be able to use and what he needed to get. So here they are clearing all the old broken bricks out of the wheelbarrows to see what we may be able to use for our crazy pathways. And here they are stacking the better bits of paving out of the way for future use.

Stephen was then put to work with the mattock prizing the remaining bricks out of the pathway…

While, not to be left out, my grandson came along to do some trucking!

So all good. The butler’s sink cleared ready for those carnivorous, insect eating plants – although Steve reckons that is may need a bit more support first – and then we could build a massive bug hotel underneath it.

And here are all our neat piles of material all ready for next week. So roll on next Friday!
